Banana pulping: define the feed and the product

Puree consistency from prepared fruit. Peeled banana feed and the intended puree consistency define the duty. Maturity, fibre and small seeds vary by variety, and air exposure during transfer can change colour and texture.

01

Preparation comes first

Peeled banana feed and the intended puree consistency define the duty. Maturity, fibre and small seeds vary by variety, and air exposure during transfer can change colour and texture.

02

The sample decides the separation duty

Provide prepared-feed rate, maturity range and the desired puree texture. Compare screen loading, product transfer, aeration and useful pulp remaining in the reject.

03

Build an equipment enquiry

Send the fruit and preparation, kilograms per hour of prepared feed, target product and intended downstream process. Request a confirmed configuration rather than assuming a photograph establishes compatibility.

Questions before a trial

Why does banana puree darken?

Enzymatic browning and air exposure can change colour after peeling and pulping. Mechanical equipment does not replace a preservation or browning-control step; define handling time and downstream treatment.

Does banana need a destoner-pulper?

Banana contains small seeds, not large stones. A destoner-pulper is not the default duty; define whether small seeds must be removed or can remain within the product specification.
