Plan access and replacement parts before a shutdown
A spare is useful only when it matches the installed assembly and can be changed safely. Link the parts list to the selected machine drawing.
Screen baskets: identity before aperture
Record model, machine serial number, stage, basket part number and drawing revision. Inspect holes, seams, supports and deformation. Aperture alone is insufficient to order a basket that fits.
Rotor and paddles: inspect the matching assembly
Record visible wear, damage, fastener condition and the specified clearance. A replacement paddle or rotor needs the machine instructions and assembly identity; no universal clearance or wear limit is assumed here.
Seals, bearings and drives: separate wet and mechanical interfaces
Ask for the selected assembly parts list, seal identities, bearing references and lubrication instructions. State which guards, isolation points and lifting or handling aids are included. Electrical work and reassembly follow the machine instructions.
Return to service after a change
Record the installed basket and rotor combination, assembly inspection and safe guard reinstatement. Review leakage, vibration, feed stability and product/reject observations against the approved startup procedure before returning to routine production.
Build a spare-parts enquiry
Attach the model, serial number, stage, drawing revision, part identity and photos of the installed assembly. State whether you need a replacement to the same duty or a separately reviewed change.
