Specify a screen that fits the machine and the duty

An aperture value alone does not identify a replacement screen. Begin with the installed chamber and its drawing.

01

Identify the chamber

Record the model, which stage needs the screen, and the relevant drawing or screen part number. A first-stage basket and a second-stage basket should not be assumed interchangeable.

02

Confirm physical fit

Check basket diameter, length, mounting features, joint details and the rotor clearance specified for the assembly. Confirm material and surface requirements with the supplier.

03

Keep the product target attached

Explain the fruit, preparation and texture that the screen must achieve. A finer aperture can change loading and product recovery; compare both outlets during a trial.

04

Plan a safe replacement

Agree isolation, handling, inspection and reassembly instructions for the selected machine. Check the rotor, paddles and sealing surfaces before returning the assembly to service.
