Feed arrangement for fruit pulping equipment

Present a controlled material stream to the separation chamber without hiding the upstream preparation duty.

Watermarked reference derivative of a fruit brush washer with spray bars and rollers
Fruit washing reference derivative used to define upstream preparation; it does not represent a guaranteed line configuration or cleaning result.

Input and output

Input
Washed, cut, crushed, destoned or otherwise specified material at the agreed inlet condition.
Output
A stable feed into the chamber, with interruptions and any added liquid recorded.

What changes the duty

  • Inlet geometry and feed presentation
  • Feed-rate variation and surges
  • Temperature, viscosity and hard bodies

Record during the trial

  1. Record actual preparation and weigh feed over the same interval as both outlets.
  2. Note bridging, flooding and feed interruptions rather than averaging them away.
  3. Confirm the chamber receives the intended material after upstream equipment.

Cleaning and maintenance

Provide access for inspection and cleaning of the hopper and inlet. Isolate the equipment under the agreed safe procedure before access.

Installation and interfaces

Confirm hopper elevation, feeder or pump duty, upstream shutdown signals and how a blocked inlet is detected.

This page explains a machine component and its specification boundary. It does not claim a separately stocked part, a compatible replacement or an approved modification.
