Stone-fruit destoner-pulper equipment

This photo-guided presentation of the equipment family combines a stone-fruit feed hopper with a dedicated separation path and pulp collection. It differs mechanically from a standard DJ pulper and does not identify an exact model. Confirm fruit size, stone adhesion and maturity before treating any fruit as an accepted inlet.

02 / Dedicated stone handling

Prepared feed
Mango or another specifically tested stone fruit at an agreed size, maturity, temperature and preparation condition.
Product and reject
Coarse pulp, separated stones and retained peel/fibre; downstream refinement depends on the finished product target.

This is a dedicated machine family, not a DJ pulper with a different name. Its pictured structure does not establish a universal fruit-size envelope, an exact model number or a guaranteed stone-removal rate. No DJ-3–DJ-25 capacity or screen value applies to this machine.

Reference scope

What this page can and cannot size

No verified destoner-pulper model table, throughput rating or screen-aperture range is published on this page. Sizing starts from the actual fruit and stone envelope, not from a DJ model number. Provide the inputs below and require a witnessed stone-fruit trial before acceptance.

Working parts and connections

01

Prepared feed

Define fruit, temperature and upstream preparation.

Rotor action + screen surface

Functional illustration; not a machine drawing
02

Through-screen product

Test texture and defects against the product brief.

03

Retained solids

Inspect integrity and useful pulp remaining.

01

Define the stone before the rotor

Record fruit size range, stone dimensions, maturity, flesh adhesion and whether fruit is halved, softened or whole. These facts determine whether a separate destoner, manual preparation or a combined machine can be evaluated safely.

02

Inspect breakage and carryover

The trial should check broken stone fragments, kernel exposure, peel carryover and useful flesh remaining on the reject. A clean-looking puree does not prove the machine handled stones without damage or loss.

03

Separate coarse separation from fine texture

Destoning and fine refining may need different geometries or stages. If one machine is proposed for both, ask for the sequence, screen access and acceptance criteria for each duty.

Questions before a trial

Can a mango pulper take whole mangoes?

Only if the proposed configuration is specifically designed and proven for the stated mango size, maturity and stone. Do not infer this from the word pulper.

Does heating make destoning unnecessary?

No. Softening changes flesh behaviour but does not remove the mechanical hazard or product-quality implications of the stone.

What should the reject sample show?

It should show intact or controlled stone handling, peel and fibre removal, and the amount of useful flesh retained.

Technical references and scope

Installation, cleaning and acceptance

Confirm inlet and outlet elevations, transfer pump or buffer interface, safe screen access and discharge handling on the selected drawing. During a witnessed material trial, collect product and rejects over the same interval and record product quality, retained useful pulp and any damaged hard bodies.
