Fruitpulper.com / Acceptance evidence
Run a fruit pulper FAT with a fixed test basis, three-stream mass balance and signed acceptance record.
A factory acceptance test is useful only when the buyer and supplier record the same feed, settings, sampling window and acceptance limits. This checklist structures that record without inventing a universal test duration, capacity, yield or screen setting.

Freeze the test basis before feeding product
Identify the fruit lot, variety, maturity, preparation, temperature range, target product and reject limits. Record whether the quoted rate means prepared feed or finished output, and list every upstream or downstream interface used during the test.
Define and observe a stable run window
Agree how stable operation will be recognized, then record start and finish times, feed interruptions, adjustments and abnormal events. Results taken while settings or feed conditions are changing must be labelled rather than blended into the accepted window.
Close the evidence and action record
Reconcile prepared feed, accepted product and reject with flush water, recirculation and retained material. Link samples to times and settings, complete the cleaning and reassembly checks, then record accepted items, open actions, owners and signatures.
| Evidence group | Record together | Decision protected |
|---|---|---|
| Test basis | Lot, preparation, temperature, target product and agreed rate basis | Prevents a different feed or capacity definition being accepted |
| Machine state | Screen identity, speed, clearance, reject restriction and every adjustment | Connects results to a reproducible configuration |
| Three streams | Prepared feed, accepted product, reject and balance adjustments | Prevents a one-sided yield or quality conclusion |
| Closeout | Samples, cleaning, reassembly, deviations, actions and signatures | Separates passed evidence from unresolved work |

Questions before a trial
How long should the stable run last?
There is no universal duration. Agree a window long enough to observe stable feed, settings and outlet sampling for the project, and record interruptions or transitions separately.
Does a balanced mass prove product quality?
No. The balance checks accounting around the three streams; linked product and reject samples must still meet the agreed quality observations or measurements.
Can the FAT close before cleaning and reassembly?
Only if the approved scope explicitly excludes those activities. When cleanability or changeover is part of acceptance, the test remains open until inspection, reassembly and outstanding actions are recorded.
