Fruit pulper machines for a defined feed and finished pulp
A pulper moves prepared fruit through a rotor-and-screen chamber. The screened fraction becomes pulp; peel, seeds and fibre follow a separate reject path. The DJ range supplies a two-stage machine when coarse separation and finer finishing need distinct chambers. A single-stage option is available for a simpler duty, with its exact frame and rating confirmed in the equipment proposal.

The visible machine, not just a process arrow
The DJ unit photographed here has two horizontal stainless chambers, two drives, interstage piping and an open frame. Feed enters the first stage; screened product transfers into the second chamber; retained solids leave their respective discharge paths. The actual inlet, outlet heights, screen access and guards follow the selected fabrication drawing.
Choose one chamber or two
A single-stage pulper can suit a prepared feed when one screen achieves the required texture and reject separation. The DJ two-stage family places coarse pulping and finer finishing in sequence. Two stages add a second screen, drive, transfer path and cleaning task; they do not double yield or make intact large stones acceptable.
Connect it to the rest of production
Confirm wash, cut, crush, heat-soften or destone duties before the pulper as the fruit requires. Collect the screened product into a hygienic pump or buffer for the specified downstream treatment. Product preservation, filling and tank capacity are separate system decisions.
Request a buildable quotation
Provide fruit and preparation, prepared-feed rate, intended pulp or puree, screen and seed requirements, operating hours, utilities and line interfaces. A sample run should weigh product and rejects over the same interval and inspect both quality and useful pulp left with solids.
| Assembly | Purpose | Selection detail |
|---|---|---|
| Feed connection | Present prepared fruit to the first chamber | Height, supply method and hard-body boundary |
| Rotor and screen | Press suitable pulp through the screen | Screen set, wear access and tested feed |
| Second DJ chamber | Refine the accepted first-stage fraction | Final texture, interstage pipe and separate reject |
| Drives and frame | Support each chamber and allow service | Motor power by DJ model, electrical and guarding scope |
| Product and reject outlets | Keep saleable pulp and solids separate | Pump/tank interface, bins and sampling access |
Questions before a trial
Can one pulper process every fruit?
No configuration should be treated as universal. Fruit structure, preparation and target product determine whether crushing, softening, destoning, extraction or multiple finishing stages are required.
Is motor power enough to compare machines?
No. Power without material condition, screen load, duty cycle and throughput basis is not a useful selection metric.
What capacity should be stated?
State incoming prepared feed in kg/h, plus peak rate, daily operating hours and cleaning allowance. If finished-output capacity matters, state that separately.
